The Ramblers Orienteering Club has been organizing orienteering events in the Montreal Region since 1972. It is a registered non-profit run by volunteers. Our events are open to everyone. Beginners and families are welcome and there are always volunteers on-site who are willing to give you a quick introduction.

Ramblers members may participate in our local events without paying a registration fee. Ramblers membership is the most economical way to participate in three or more Ramblers events in 2024. Our memberships and fees have been the same since 2019.

Volunteers are always needed! The Ramblers Club is a volunteer-run organization. We looking for help with tasks such as registration, beginner’s instruction, control setting or control pickup, course setting, and event directing. If you want to get involved, simply send an e-mail to info.ramblersoc@gmail.com

The membership registration process includes signing the waiver and joining FQCO (Fédération Québécoise de course d’orientation) and Orienteering Canada (OC). These additional memberships are free and have always been included in a Ramblers membership.

The registration process requires an account.  You can create one if you do not have one.  A family needs only one account.  A profile for each family member may be created in the account.

Each individual is registered one at a time.  When all individuals are registered, you must checkout to complete your registration, even if there are no fees to pay. The process has several steps. Some of these only happen once per year such as signing a waiver and getting FQCO and OC memberships.

Ramblers Orienteering Club is a member of the Fédération Québécoise de course d’orientation (FQCO) and abides by the Rules and Regulations set out by the FQCO which are found here
