Viking Spring Thaw 97 - Parc Paul-Sauvé Sud

Malgré une bonne tempête 2 jours avant l'événement, la journée fut merveilleuse pour cette première rencontre dans la région de Montréal. Le soleil brillait et le thermomètre indiquait 14 degrés. Dans le bois il y avait de la neige et beaucoup de boue, mais tout de même 39 personnes se sont présentés, près du double de l'année dernière.

Ce fut aussi le premier événement pour La coupe événement B de Montréal.

Despite a heavy snowstorm two days before the event, it turned out to be a wonderful day for the orienteering premier in the Montreal region. The sun was shining and the thermometer showed 14 degrees. In the woods there were some snow and a lot of mud but still 39 people showed up which is almost twice as many as last year.

This was also the first event in the Montreal B-meet Cup.
